Death’s Demon – Book Three of The Afterlife of Kye Dodson – is Live!
If Kye’s a Demon, you may need to feel sorry for Satan
Kye’s riding high after saving his girlfriend, Cassi, from a deranged angel who kidnapped her. But his world crumbles when Cassi realizes that her love for Kye could get her killed.
Crushed by the revelation, Kye casts himself to Hell, hoping to end his pain in Satan’s abyss. But Death, Satan, and God have other plans. He’s now tasked with preventing war in Hell, a war that could destroy all three realms—and Earth. As Kye matches wits with Yataz, an ancient demon bent on destroying Satan’s domain, he finds clues to who may have murdered his first girlfriend, Tracey. Kye must decide which is more important—revenge for Tracey’s murder or peace in Hell.
After Kye casts himself into a burning inferno, Cassi knew she’d made an awful mistake and followed the man she truly loved to the underworld. There she finds Kye embroiled in a celestial plot that will kill them and destroy everything they know. Now, their love will be tested as they try to prevent a celestial war that will tear the fabric of the universe and spell doom for all.
Death’s Angel
Heaven just welcomed a new angel…it may be the end of Heaven.
Kye’s put a halt, at least temporarily, to Armageddon, which has earned him a new position: Heaven’s newest angel. With his new status, Kye’s riding high: His girlfriend, Cassi, has been reinstated as an angel, there’s going to be a wedding in the family, and his new bar is making him rich.
He’s on cloud nine. Literally.
So, what could go wrong? Well, just about everything.
Someone’s killing Heaven’s top angels, and Kye’s now tasked to track down the murderer. But in doing so, Kye has made Cassi the target of the unknown assassin. Now he must find the killer before they can get to Cassi.
For Cassi, this may be too much for her to bear. Living in the shadow of a celestial superstar is one thing.
But is Kye’s love worth dying for?

There is no such thing as magic, it was time for Jason to give that dream up. After his wife’s death, he was done, his dreams shattered. Thank god for Catie and the kids, without them he probably wouldn’t have survived. The plan now was simple: Slide into retirement with just enough money to survive, and disappear into oblivion.
It was a good plan, in reality the only plan for a middle-aged guy trying to raise two kids. But then a short man in a strange hat leads him to a mysterious book and an ancient box. To his joy, he quickly learns that there is more magic in the world then he ever believed. Even better, he was a warlock.
Of course, good news has a short shelf life; someone wants him and his family dead. Now, the only way to keep his family alive is to train to become a warlock and figure out who is trying to kill him.
He quickly finds that the life of a warlock is deadly; they are defenders of the realm; protecting earth from dangers from other realms. They fiercely guard the knowledge of their existence, to the mortal world they do not exist. Even among wizards, warlocks are thought to be a myth.
Things change after he discovers the identity of the would-be assassin. Unfortunately, unmasking his hunter only leads him to the true mastermind behind the plot to kill him. Someone he would never have suspected.

Death’s Arbiter
Hi! I’m Kye. I’m funny, irreverent, and have been dead for over a hundred years. My boss doesn’t mind. Being dead is considered a prerequisite when you work for Death.
Death, as it turns out, isn’t a bad employer. Despite the myths he’s not an angel. He’s an independent deity that sits between Heaven and Hell. He used to be the one who decided who dies and when. But God gave man ‘Free-will’ and man used it to create some pretty damn good machines of war. Nowadays, Death takes some souls but let’s humans handle the rest. Makes his reapers jobs a lot easier. But they hate it as it takes the fun out of their job.
Death’s main job is to keep Heaven and Hell from annihilating each other and destroying Earth in the process. But keeping the delicate balance between the two celestial powerhouses is no easy feat. That’s where I come in, I help him figure out whether a soul is best suited for Heaven or Hell. Except for the constant threat of an angel or demon trying to kill me, it’s a great job.
The problem is, there’s two new souls who have the celestial powerhouses up in arms and getting ready for Armageddon.
I had hoped to make it to retirement, with me and Earth in one piece. Now, I just hope to make it till to the weekend. As for Earth, sorry, you may be on your own on this one.
More to come…
